Privacy Policy
Zwift Coureur does not collect personal data. There is no account, no sign-up and no tracking. This page explains what the app does with the information you give it.
What stays on your device
Everything you enter stays on your iPhone or iPad: your weight, height and FTP, the equipment in your garage, your favourites, and the races you have marked. None of it is sent to us and none of it is shared with anyone. If you use iCloud, some of it is also kept in your own iCloud so it survives a reinstall — see below.
Apple Health
If you allow it, the app reads two values from Apple Health: your body mass and your height. Both are needed to estimate finish times. You can decline this permission and type the values in by hand instead; the app works exactly the same either way. The app writes nothing to Health, reads no other Health data, never sends Health data anywhere, and never uses it for advertising.
iCloud
If your device is signed in to iCloud, four things are kept there as well, so they survive a reinstall or move to a new device: the equipment in your garage, your weight, height and FTP, your favourite routes and segments, and the races you have marked. It is stored in iCloud key-value storage, which belongs to your Apple Account; there is no database of ours behind it and we have no access to it. Your settings, such as the theme and the colourblind mode, and your list of recently viewed routes stay on the device and are not copied to iCloud. The app works fully without iCloud.
Network
The app ships with all the data it needs and works offline. It downloads static data files from zwift.decoureur.eu to add material published since the app was built, and it does that only when you ask for it by pulling down on the Events tab — plus once by itself if the calendar has run out of upcoming races. There is no background checking. These requests send no information about you. The files are served by GitHub Pages, which may process technical connection details such as your IP address in order to deliver them; see the GitHub Privacy Statement.
Analytics and advertising
There are none. The app contains no analytics, no advertising, no third-party tracking software and no advertising identifier.
Children
The app is not directed at children and collects no personal data from anyone.
Deleting your data
Deleting the app removes everything stored on the device. The iCloud copy is small and does not appear in your iCloud storage settings; it stays with your Apple Account until you sign out of iCloud on the device, and reinstalling the app brings your garage and profile back.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
